How awesome is this stunning tribute to our fallen military heroes?
Volunteers planted 10,000 flags Tuesday morning at the University of Phoenix as a Memorial Day tribute to honor the sacrifices made by active-duty service members and veterans and their families, according to FOX 10 Phoenix — something that’s been going on for nine years.
A total of 50 volunteers, many of them veterans, set up the flags to spell out “Honoring Our Heroes,” paying homage to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our freedom.
God bless the University of Arizona for giving credit where credit is due, and for showing other institutions of higher learning what a college campus should look like.
The flags will be removed by Memorial Day to be used to honor fallen veterans at cemeteries all over Arizona.
